Davis Andrew Lindsay

Davis Andrew Lindsay, 62, of Owensboro, was born on January 12, 1951 to the late Wallace Lindsay in Cloverport, KY. He was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. He was united in marriage with Ruth (Lindsey) Lindsay on November 4, 1973 in Owensboro, KY.
Davis served in the US Army from October 1970 to May 1972, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was an active member of Owensboro Church of Christ, a foster parent and a Corvette enthusiast. Davis enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Lindsay; three children, Joella (Lindsay) Martinez (Joaquin), Dustin Lindsay (Christi) and Robert Lindsay (Chelsea); nine grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 2 at Owensboro Church of Christ located on Highway 60 East. Rev. Jimmy Bunch will officiate. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 - 8 PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and on Saturday after 10 AM at church.
