David Lynn Wilson

David Lynn Wilson, 56, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, November 04, 2009, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born September 5, 1953 to the late W.H. "Connie" and Rene Delaney Wilson in Daviess County. He had worked as an auto mechanic and was a member of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and being with his family.

He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Betty Wilson, a great-nephew, Dylan Cornelius, aunts, Ruby Canary and Sue Chamberlin.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Ann Wilson; his children, Nisha, Jimmy, Whitney, and Cheryl; a sister, Connie (Roger) Cornelius of Lewisport; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; aunt, Joan Beard of Owensboro, cousins, Marty Canary of Owensboro, and Rudy Clark of Louisville.

Services will be 7:00 PM Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with visitation from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boulware Center, 609 Wing Avenue, Owensboro, KY 42303, or American Cancer Society, 1302 Frederica Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.
