David Ray Wills, 60, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 24, 1954 in Daviess Co., KY. David had been a Boilermaker with the Boilermakers Union Local #40 and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed golfing, going to the horse races, and watching old Westerns, especially those with John Wayne. He had a great sense of humor and a lot of wit about him. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest E. Wills, just one day ago on Tuesday, January 20, 2015.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Cindy Riley Wills, his mother, Shirley Wills of Owensboro, his daughter, Kelsey (Ryan) Trunnell of Utica, his son, Tyler (Veronica Blincoe) Wills of Owensboro, a granddaughter, Kinzley Wills, and a sister, Jane Langevin of Owensboro.
There will be a joint visitation for family and friends for David and his father, Ernie, from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Saturday, January 24, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Graveside services for them will be private.
