David Allen Williams

David Allen Williams, 51, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008 at his home. Born April 30, 1956 in Owensboro, he was the son of the late Elzie and Lucille Williams; had worked as a caregiver in the Health Care Industry; was a member of Southside Wesleyan Church; and enjoyed UK basketball, cooking and, especially, spending time with his grandchildren and other family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Williams in 2006.

Survivors include his daughters, Yolanda "Crissy" Bowman and her husband Matt and Jeanetta Williams both of Louisville; sisters, Elaine Thompson and Darlene Snyder and her husband Glen both of Owensboro; grandchildren, Blake Williams, Kayle Bowman, and Nicholas Bowman all of Louisville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are 12 Noon Monday, Janaury 14, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. John Fowler and Joey Snyder officiating followed by burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
