David "SHOTGUN" West

David Ray "SHOTGUN" West, 57, of Owensboro, passed away April 1, 2017 at home. He was born in Daviess County on May 29, 1959 to LaVega and Barbra Sutton West. SHOTGUN worked at Coca-Cola for sixteen years before he and his wife, Lisa, opened D&L Palace of Pets. He is also a member of the Grim Reapers Motorcycle Club.

SHOTGUN is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lisa West; parents, LaVega West (Barbra) and Alton Ray Evans (Pearline C.); daughter, Lovisa Vee West and Sarah Elizabeth Mickus; son, Dustin Oost (Teresa); brothers, LaVega Truman "L.T." West (Juliene) and James Wade "Jamie" West (Teresa); along with the Grim Reapers Motorcycle Club; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and three K-9 Grandbabies, Gypsy Rose, Ducky and Harley D.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in McLean County, KY. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
