David Wayne Roberts

David Wayne Roberts, 63, of Owensboro, passed away at home July 3, 2016. Born May 23, 1953 in Daviess Co. to the late Allie Jr. and Mernia Payne Roberts, David enjoyed true country life. He was a 4th generation farm owner and enjoyed gardening. David had a love for hunting, fishing, UK basketball and enjoyed watching and feeding hummingbirds. He also enjoyed his time alone and liked listening to all kinds of music. David is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Linda Roberts Estes and Janet Robert Heath.

He is survived by sister, Karen Fireline of Lewisport, KY; brother, Bobby Roberts of Santa Claus, IN, and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be noon, Friday, July 8, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The American Cancer Society, 1302 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301.
