David Christopher Quisenberry

David Christopher Quisenberry, Chris, or "Quiz" as he was affectionately known, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 in Owensboro. He was born August 12, 1968 in Paintsville, KY. He was 44 years old.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Porter and Christine Quisenberry and his maternal grandmother, Garnette Howard.

Chris was employed at Big Rivers Electric Corporation and previously served as a deputy jailer at the Daviess County Detention Center.

Chris is remembered as a kind-hearted, loving individual with a wonderful ability to connect with others. He seldom met a stranger and had a genuine smile that attracted many. His favorite music was classic country music with George Strait and George Jones being among his favorite artists. He loved NFL Football (Dallas Cowboys), UK Basketball and NASCAR where he followed Dale Earnhart. He was mechanically inclined and always willing to help those for whom he cared.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Millay Quisenberry; his parents Ron and Peggy Preston Quisenberry of St. Augustine, FL; his maternal grandfather, Bobby Howard of Owensboro; his sister, Toni Dendler (Rick) of St. Augustine, FL; his brother, Brandon Quisenberry (Courtney); his two sons, Presten Chase and Parker Rilee Quisenberry; his three daughters, Caitlin Semian, Emily and Sophie Houser; his mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Brenda Millay of Masonville; his brother-in-law, Jerry Millay II (Patty) of Owensboro; his niece, Meghann Dendler of St. Augustine; his nephews, David Henry Dendler of St. Augustine and Alex and Neil Quisenberry of Owensboro, along with many aunts, uncles, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Richard Dendler officiating. Burial will follow at Axton Cemetery in Ohio County, KY. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the charity of the donor's choice.
