David McAfee

David McAfee, 43, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Dunedin, Fla. He loved hunting and fishing, spending time with his wife, family, and friends and grilling out and entertaining them. He also enjoyed camping and boating and guiding people on hunting trips. He especially loved his dog, Katie-Scarlet. He was a member of the American Legion Post #9. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Jackie in July 2000.

Surviving is his wife of 13 years, Alisa K. McAfee, his parents, Roland & Loretta McAfee of Springfield, Tn., a son, David Allen Madderra of Mountain Grove, Missouri, one grandchild, a sister, Ruth and husband Tim Riggs of Springfield, two brothers, Roland and wife Debbie McAfee, Jr. of Fairfield, Ca. and Ronald and wife Christine McAfee of Napa, Ca., his mother-in-law, Patricia Jackie of Mt. Washington, Ky., two sisters-in-law, Teri and husband Mark Jordan of Louisville, and Benita Jackie of Lexington, and two brothers-in-law, Timothy and wife Lisa Jackie of Shepherdsville and John and wife Melissa Jackie of Brooks, Ky., and numerous nieces & nephews.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10 at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
