David Lynn Mattingly

David Lynn Mattingly, 51, of Utica, passed away peacefully on August 22, at his home. He was a dedicated construction worker and avid enthusiast of the great outdoors. In his professional career, David devoted many years to the construction industry, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to quality. Most recently, he focused on drywall work, where his meticulous attention to detail was evident in every project he undertook. Outside of his professional life, David found great pleasure in fishing and hunting. He took immense pride in keeping his truck in impeccable condition and was a devoted fan of the classic television show, The Andy Griffith Show.

Those left to cherish his memory include his spouse, Sherry Calcaterra; parents, Doug and Patty Mattingly; siblings, Angela Inglish (Ryan) and Rob Mattingly (Mandy Isom); stepchildren, Christy Calcaterra, Michael Calcaterra and Shyann Emby; and nephews, Caleb Mattingly, Parker Mattingly, Jameson Johnson and Joseph Inglish.

The funeral service for David will be 4 PM Monday, August 25, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
