David Drake Kimble

David D. Kimble, 44, of Lexington died Monday, December 10, 2001, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. The Evansville native retired from Kentucky Department of Revenue in 1999 and attended a Methodist Church. He was a Christian, received an accounting degree from the University of Kentucky and was appointed to the governor's task force on disability.

Survivors include three brothers, Michael K. Kimble, DDS, of Elizabethtown and Steve Kimble and Greg Kimble, both of Owensboro; eight nephews and nieces; and a great-niece.

Services are at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after noon Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Spinal Cord Society.
