David D. Kassinger

David D. Kassinger, 68, of 2321 Crescent Hill Court, Owensboro, died Thursday, April 03, 2003 at his residence after a battle with cancer. He was born in Butler County, Kentucky on November 5, 1934 the son of Walter and Martha Johnson Kassinger.

Mr. Kassinger retired from W. R. Grace and Hampshire Chemical, and was the owner of Movie Center on Veach Road. He was a member of Owensboro Christian Church and a Marine Veteran. He enjoyed cookouts with family, watching western & war movies, talking politics and meeting people.

He is survived by his wife Lee Kassinger; one son, Jeff Kassinger of Owensboro; one daughter, Tammy Greenwell of Owensboro; three grandchildren; one brother, Larry Kassinger of Owensboro; two sisters, Lucille Robertson and Ann Embry both of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 5, 2003 at Glenn Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Steve Stovall. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2003 and after 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
