David W. Jones, 53, of Owensboro, went to be in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ Thursday, February 2, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Owensboro to the late Robert F. Jones and Brenda F. (Clark) Priar.
He spent many years in construction work as a roofer. David enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with family and his dog, "Ruffless".
He is survived by a daughter, Kelsey; a son, Nathan; sisters, Mary A. Miller and Brenda S. Felty; a brother, Robert Dale Jones; nieces, Chantey Jones, Ashley Benningfield, Caressa Jones, Lindsey Felty; and nephews, Brandon Miller, Aaron Felty and Micah Jones.
The memorial service will be at 11 AM Friday, February 10 at Owensboro Memorial Gardens Chapel.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the family of David W. Jones.
