David E. Jones

David E. Jones, Jr., 46, of Owensboro died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He had worked at Advance Auto Parts, was a member of Crosspointe Baptist Church and had served in the Army. David liked hunting and fishing but his true enjoyment came from spending time with his children and watching them play sports. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Allgood, Sr.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years Lori Jones; his children, Leah Jones, Tabitha Jones, Carissa Jones and Brandon Miller all of Sarasota, Florida and Kristine Jones and Davie Jones both of Owensboro; grandchildren, Nathan Clark, Haley Clark, and Carter Scheeler; his mother, Ima Jean Allgood of Owensboro; his brother, Bill Allgood and his wife Heather of Owensboro; and his sister, Lou Kaiser of Owensboro.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
