David Wendell Huff

David Wendell Huff, 62, of Owensboro died Thursday, February 26, 2004 at his home. The Hancock County native was retired from General Electric where he worked for 34 years and was a member of the Dawson Baptist Church. He loved playing golf; Kentucky Wesleyan Basketball; was a member of the Ensor Masonic lodge; and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Shirley Janice Norris Huff; a son, Jeffrey David (and Lisa) Huff of Princeton, IN; a daughter, Karen Renee (and David) Schwartz of Owensboro; 4 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; and a brother, Dale Leon (and Lorna) Huff of Cubb Run, KY.

Funeral services are 1 P.M. on Monday, March 1, 2004 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Resurrection Cemetery where VFW Post 696 will provide military honors. Visitation will be from 1-6 P.M. on Sunday, February 29, 2004 and after 11 A.M. on Monday.
