David T. Hill, 79, of 251 Cardinal Lane, Owensboro, died Thursday, March 21, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born in Calhoun, Kentucky on November 25, 1922 the son of Troy and Fredonia Epley Hill. His wife, Wanda Jean Richards Hill preceded him in death in 1984.
Mr. Hill retired from Field Packing Company after 25 years as night office manager. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. He drove armored cars with Lumis Armored Car and Purolator Armored Car. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served with the 8th Cavalry.
Survivors include a son, Mark A. Hill of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Dale Rouse. Burial will be Saturday, March 23, 2002 in Yellow Creek Cemetery. His family will receive friends after 3:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
