David Wayne Henry

David Wayne "Dave" Henry, 58, of Clarksville, TN passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Gateway Hospital in Clarksville. Born in Owensboro, Dave graduated from Daviess County High School. He was a creative entrepreneur, having started and sold three businesses during the course of his career in the areas of commercial photography and shipping automation. He was last serving as a sales executive for the V-Tech Corporation of Cheshire, CT. He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Henry, Sr. in 1996, and an unborn child in 1992.

Surviving David are his wife, June Marie Tanner; his son, David Wayne Clark of Petersburg, KY; his mother, Ora Marie Henry of Owensboro; his grandchildren, James Harry Teegarden and Bodhi Alexander Clark, of Petersburg, KY; his brothers and sisters, Barbara (Kenny) Johnson, James H. (Tammy) Henry, Jr., Brenda (Jerry) Payne, Janice (Blake) Rowe, Sandra Kay Henry and Ronald Lee Henry, all of Owensboro, and Charlotte (Joe) Muniz, of Baton Rouge, LA; and 12 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great nieces, all of whom he cared for deeply.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Evergreen South Cemetery in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Kosair Children's Hospital.
