David L. Hall

David L. Hall, 70, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2024, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center. He was born July 8, 1953, in Dubois, IN, to the late Lewis Emery Sr. and Thelma Ruth Hall. David retired from Titan Contracting after 29 years. He was a selfless, funny man, who found therapy in mowing grass.   David was an avid collector of coins, knives, guns, and many other things. He loved trains, hunting and fishing, but above all, David loved his family. 

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brothers; Dallas Hall, Lewis Hall Jr., Scott Hall; and sister, Ruth Hall.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 49 years, Kathy Hall; children, Stephen Anderson, Stephanie Deyoung (David); Anthony Hall and Andrew Hall; brother, Garry(Marcia) Hall; sisters, Dorothy Hall, Pauline Woolard (Gary), Karen Hall, and Marcia Hall; thirteen grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Kari, Cory, Ciara, Hunter, Amora, Jayse, Jalen, Mason, Maddox, Naveah and Mischa ; and 19 great-grandchildren. 

The funeral service for David will be 2 PM Saturday, March 9, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be Sunday at Hill Church Cemetery.
