David Earl "Swabby" Condra

David Earl "Swabby" Condra 62, passed away peacefully Thursday April 26, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born December 14, 1955 to the late Marion Taylor King and Darwin Phegley.
David joined the Navy in 1974 right out of high school and retired in 1997. He loved Nascar, was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He had a love for his country like no other.
He was preceded in death by John "Pops" Hamburg and a son-in-law Allen Hamm.
David is survived by his wife, Yvonne "Angel" Hatcher Condra; his children, Jennifer Condra Hamm, Courtney Condra, and Jonathan Condra; grandchildren, Dustin Hamm, Bryce "Baby Boy" Hamm, and Lindsay "Lucy" Hamm; one great-granddaughter, Dallis Rae Hamm; two sisters, Sarah Maxine Kiper and Diane Condra Wink; nephews, John Patrick, Mike and Mark Sublett, Jason Wink, and Logan Allen; a very special little brother, Jeff Quinn; "brother", Eric "Luke" Hamburg; and a host of friends.
The memorial service will be Noon Thursday, May 3 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the family of David Condra or Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathen's Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
