David Lewis Brown

David Lewis Brown, 56, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. The Daviess County native was born November 14, 1968, and is being welcomed into heaven with open arms by his parents Clayton Webster Brown (C.W.) and Nora Foster Brown. David graduated from Daviess County High School, class of 1986 and was employed at O’Reilly Auto Parts. He was a “jack-of-all-trades” and learned quickly. He watched his brother and father-in-law do things and could immediately repeat it over and over. David enjoyed fishing, animals, especially dogs, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Kentucky Wildcats fan. David was laid back and not known to be outgoing, but once you had the privilege of meeting him, you knew he was “one of the good ones”.

 Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jessie Brown (Miranda Craig) and Clay Brown; a granddaughter, Salem Brown; siblings, Peggy Hill (Bob) of Owensboro, Scott Brown (Ann) of Whitesville, and Jurona Zandi of Charlotte NC. He is also loved and adored by his nieces who often called him “Uncle Dave.”

 A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, December 14 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with same day visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
