David Eugene Bolton

David Eugene ''Sam'' Bolton, 71, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at his home. Born in Fordsville on June 9, 1939, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Margaret Jarboe Bolton; was retired from Commonwealth Aluminum; and was a Navy veteran. Mr. Bolton enjoyed fishing, UK Basketball, NASCAR, and spending time with his son, Bo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Bolton in 2009.

Surviving is his wife of 17 years, Angela Alvey Bolton; his son, David Bolton; a grandson, David Hancock; and a sister, Helen Bolton.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday evening, November 19, 2010 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
