July 29, 1961 — February 23, 2003
David Wayne Barnett, 41, of 2118 East 19th St. , Owensboro died Sunday, February 23, 2003 at his home. The Daviess County native was a member of the Yellow Creek Baptist Church and owner/operator of Wags and Whiskers Dog Grooming.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ann Henson Barnett; two step-sons, William Craig, Jr. of Owensboro and Jerry Craig of Cincinnati; two step-daughters, Carlena Pollard of Owensboro and Robin Craig at home; three step-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Barnett of Philpot and James Larry Barnett of Owensboro; five sisters, Nelda Nalley of Maceo, Stella Taylor of Hopkinsville, Wanda Ford of Utica, Mary Lee Clark of Owensboro and Pam Hazelwood of Utica.
Funeral services are 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro with burial in Pellville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday and after 9 A.M. on Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the David Barnett Memorial Fund.
