David Michael Aud

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Michael Aud, 67, of Owensboro, who passed away January 26, 2024, while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky, surrounded by his family. He was born December 14, 1956, in Owensboro, to the late Paul Michael and Mary Lois Coomes Aud. David was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral. He retired from Bobby Wilson Home Furnishings and was an avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. 

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Louise Patton, and a brother, Richard Glenn Aud.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings, Tricia Mullins (Mark), Karen Aud, Janice McCarthy (Jeff), and Becky Roberts (Robin); nieces, Lori Bridges (Jared), Jennifer Goetz (Rico), and Lindsey McBride (John); nephews, Scott Mullins (Tiffany), Adam McCarthy (Shannon), and Casey McCarthy; and several great nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service for David will be 12 PM Tuesday, January 30, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. William Catholic Church Cemetery.
