Daryl Allen Wheatley

Daryl Allen Wheatley, 58, of Owensboro, died Monday, February 28, 2011 at his home. He was born in Daviess County to the late Robert E. and Emma M. Wheatley. Daryl was a loving husband and father. He was a self employed carpenter, and was a Christian. He was an avid deer hunter, loved to fish, and enjoyed gardening. He was also preceded in death by a brother Rodney Wheatley in 2010.
Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Julie Wheatley, and a son, Daryl Allen Wheatley Jr., several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Fr. Carl McCarthy. Interment will be private. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Help Office.
