Daphne Seeber Staley

Daphne Seeber Staley, 83, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013. She was born January 19, 1930 in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late Oscar and Ione Gibson Seeber.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell T. Staley; her brother, Everett Seeber, and her sister, Jennie Louise Good.

From an early age, Daphne possessed a keen ability to combine color and form; she put these talents to use as an interior decorator for Ethan Allen for over 16 years. When not decorating for her job, Daphne enjoyed designing and sewing clothes; providing her family and close friends with fashionable clothes to wear.

Daphne is survived by her daughter, Sabrina Cox (George) of Owensboro; her brother, Bruce Seeber of West Monroe, LA; her sister, Mary Robinson of Tallahassee, FL. She is also survived by a special nephew, Kim Seeber of Landrum, SC along with many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Saturday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Saturday from Noon until 2:00 at the funeral home.
