Danny Ray Word, 72, of Owensboro, lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday May 8th, 2021 with his beloved wife Pam by his side at their home.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and proud to serve his country. Danny retired from Alcoa, loved eating out, and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Danny is survived by his wife, Pam Word; and very much loved his new family, son, Rob (Jaime) Ralph; daughter, Tisha (Mike) Kelly; grandchildren, Ryan, Colton, Jaden, Bryson; and great-grandchildren.
