Daniel Scott Roberts

Daniel Roberts, 47, of Lewisport passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. The Hohenwald, Tennessee native was born August 26, 1976, as one of six children to the late John Edward Roberts and Linda Mae Morgan Roberts. Daniel loved spending time with his family, enjoying cookouts, camping, and just sitting by the fire outdoors. He was an avid movie watcher and enjoyed going to Windy Hollow Raceway. Daniel was a lover of life and making people laugh. He was employed as a diesel mechanic at First Class Services of Lewisport, served on the Lewisport Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of the Baptist faith. 

 In addition to his parents, Daniel also was preceded in death by his stepmother, Lynn Roberts and a nephew, Eric Stewart. 

 Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of twenty-two years, Carol Thurby Roberts; daughter, Misty (Matt) Killion of Reynolds Station; son, Larry (Lacey) Ramsey of Vincennes, IN; brothers, Troy (Teresa) Roberts of Lewisport and Wayne (Dana) Thurby of Elkton; sisters, Patricia Lehman, Connie Roberts both of Philpot, Sandy (Steve) Russell of Holladay, TN, Iva Mae Roberts of Pekin, IN; six grandchildren, Jamison, Wesley, Kyle, Thomas, Parker, and Finleigh; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.   

 The funeral will be at noon Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Lewisport Cemetery.
