Daniel Kyle Miller

Daniel Kyle Miller, (Sergeant First Class, Army, retired), 60, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008 at his home. Born in Dodge City, KS on April 5, 1948, he served 31 years in the United States Army as a Supply Specialist. SFC Miller enjoyed archery and shooting pistols and was a member of the Owensboro Rifle and Pistol Club. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Miller.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Danette Barber Miller; his mother and step-father, Maxine and Sigdor Petersen of Madison, WI; daughters, SPC Jessica Miller Um serving in the Army in South Korea, Danyel Strese of Monroe, Wi and Britta Miller of Madison, WI; granddaughters, Czarianna Miller of Madison and Sarah Soon Um of South Korea; and sisters, Sharla Miller and Marsha Miller both of Madison, WI.

Services are 2 P.M. Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Renner officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
