Daniel Kent Mclellan

Dr. Daniel Kent McLellan, 55, of Owensboro, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was an optometrist, a graduate of Centre College, and Southern College of Optometry, and a professional boxing judge. Daniel was a loving husband, and thought of everyone else before himself. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Elaine (Neville) McLellan.
Surviving is his wife of 24 years, Paula McLellan, a brother, Thomas (Terri) McLellan of Okemos, MI., sister-in-law, Cheryl Stallings, a niece Mandy (Ryan) Johnson, nephew, Aaron Hammonds, great nieces, Courtney, Bess, Abby and Emily Johnson, and a great nephew, Oakley Johnson, all of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Anthony Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
