Daniel K. Hutchinson

March 24, 1953 — August 17, 2015

Daniel K. Hutchinson, 62, of Owensboro passed away Monday, August 17. He was born in Evansville to his mother, Gleda J. Alexander Hutchinson and father, Harold L. Hutchinson.
Dan retired from Red Lobster in 2005 after 33 years of service. He had served the company as an area supervisor before becoming general manager of the Owensboro location. Dan enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family. He also had a passion for landscaping and beautifying his back yard. He turned it into an exceptional and refreshing place to relax and entertain family and friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his brother, Randy T. Hutchinson and father-in-law, Joseph M. Grimes.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Hutchinson; sons, Jordan Hutchinson (Beth) of Louisville and Brennen Hutchinson; mother, Gleda Hutchinson of Seminole, FL; father, Harold L. Hutchinson (Melba) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Shirlene Mott (Fred) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Jana Morris (Dave) of Newburgh, IN and Sharla Hutchinson of Paducah, KY; mother-in-law, Barbara Grimes of Clarkson, KY; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be at 12 Noon, Saturday, August 22 at First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 10 AM until service at the church. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
