Daniel Rudolph Hayden

D. Rudolph Hayden, 76, born February 28, 1927, of 2026 Sussex Place, Owensboro, died Thursday, September 4, 2003 in Louisville, KY. He was the owner of D.R. Hayden Oil Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and William G. Hayden, and his brothers, Gerald Hayden, Charles E. Hayden, and J. Jolly Hayden.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Julia Smith Hayden; five brothers, Julian Hayden and Paul R. Hayden, Sr. of Owensboro, Newt Hayden of Henderson, Donald Hayden of Louisville, and Michael Hayden of Dallas; five sisters, Theresa Ward of Owensboro, Thelma Jo McGowan of Las Vegas, Mary Charlotte Burch of Evansville, and Sue Hayden and Jane Cloud, both of Louisville; and many nieces and nephews.

Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Catholic Church. Visitation is from 2 until 8 p.m. Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 5 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Calhoun Cemetery.
