Dan Pearl

Dan Pearl, 81, of Owensboro passed away peacefully November 6, 2026, at his home. He was born July 18, 1945, in Owensboro to the late Andrew and Corine Payne Pearl. Dan worked in engineering and maintenance most of his life. One of his proudest accomplishments was taking part in the construction of the Executive Inn. At home he enjoyed his family of three children and five grandchildren.

Dan’s passions were working his small farm and helping his neighbors with his tractor when they needed it. “Mr. Dan” as many people called him, drove his golf cart around his neighborhood, socializing with his neighbors. His love of his neighbors and frequency of his visits also got him the title of the “Mayor” of his neighborhood. He was active at the Daviess County Fish and Game, rising to become the President for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marcella Bruno Pearl.

He is survived by his two sons, Frank Pearl and Jeff Pearl; daughter, Denise Wedding; and grandchildren, Jennifer Pearl, Tabitha Rittenhouse, Renee Wedding, Mandy Wedding, and Nathan Pearl.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 12 from 9:00 until 11:30 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. The Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
