Dalton Clyde Goodrich, 81, of Owensboro, passed away September 21, 2017 at home. He was born October 11, 1935 in Chicago, IL to the late Clyde Henry and Corinne L. Smith Goodrich. Dalton was a wonderful person who was good to people. He was gentle, caring, loving and enjoyed joking around and cutting up. Professionally, he worked in the steel industry and was most recently a manager for Precision Steel in Franklin Park, IL.
Dalton is survived by his wife of nearly 51 years, Phyllis Wilhite Goodrich; daughter, Pam Flippin (Scott); sons, David Gord (Linda) and Chip Dalton Goodrich A.K.A. "Jeff" Goodrich (Madonna); grandchildren, Crystal Flippin, Heather Mrva (Nate), Andy Flippin, David Flippin and great grandson, Graham Mrva.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Saturday 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
