Cynthia Renee Payne

Cynthia Cindy Young Payne, 29 of Owensboro, died Monday, March 1, 2004 at her home. The Graves County native worked at McDonalds on East Highway 60. Cindy was a 1993 graduate of Apollo High School and a graduate of the Owensboro Business College. She was a devoted mother who dedicated her life to her children. Cindy was preceded in death by a son, Joshua walker in 1996, and her father, Kermit Young Sr. in January 2004. Her husband, Robert Payne, also died on March 1, 2004.

She is survived by two children, Robbie Payne and Caitlin Payne of Owensboro; her mother, Karon Fay Young of Burgaw, NC; five sisters, Jenny Croom of Burgaw, Mary Frances Sexton of Gladewater, TX, and Sherry Martin, Kathy Miller and Melissa Willis all of Owensboro; two brothers, Tim Young of Owensboro and Kermit Young, Jr. of Gladewater, TX; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 11 A.M. Friday, March 5,2004 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Thursday and after 9 A.M. on Friday.
