Cynthia Ann Jackson

Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Jackson, 64, of Philpot passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Hardin County on August 20, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Randall and Millie Johnson; was retired from the State of Kentucky where she was a secretary for the Juvenile Justice System; and was a member of Masonville Baptist Church. Ms. Jackson was also a lecturer for the Weight Watchers Program and enjoyed yard work, basket weaving, sewing, cross-stitching, and most of all, being a Nana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, David Elliotte Jackson.

Surviving are a daughter, Andrea (Shawn) Payne of Philpot; a son, Kenneth E. Jackson of Loveland, OH; a grandson, Adam Payne of Philpot; her companion and his children, George Henry, Jr. and Jeremy (April) Henry and their children, Blake and Briley; a brother, Alva B. "Skip" (Barbara) Johnson of Clarksville, TN; a sister, Sadie Harris of Hartford; a close friend, Philp Palko of Loveland, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 10 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Bob Hardison officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. (EST) Monday in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
