Curtis Harold Murphy

Curtis Harold Murphy, 88, of Viola Gardens, in Owensboro and a native of Daviess County, died September 16, 2013 at his home. He was born May 31, 1925 to the late Clyde Murphy and Lucille Murphy. Curtis Harold was a WWII veteran of the Navy and a retired service tech of 26 years with Sears. He was a member of Third Baptist Church in Owensboro. Curtis Harold enjoyed wood working and was a clock enthusiast.

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Nina Murphy.

Services will be Thursday at 2 PM in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home & Crematory with Dr. James Byrd presiding. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 11am - 2 pm at the funeral home.
