Crocia K. Eldridge

Crocia K. Eldridge, 67, of Owensboro went to be with the Lord April 18, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro on June 26, 1946 to Paris and Connie Davis Kessinger. Crocia loved to travel and spent a lot on time on the road with her husband, Gernie, while he worked as a boilermaker. When she was home she loved to tend to her roses, cook for the family meals, listen to country music, and watch westerns on TV. She was a spiritual woman who was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her father Paris Kessinger; brother, Johnny Kessinger; and infant brother George Clifton Kessinger.

Survivors include her loving husband Gernie Eldridge; mother, Connie Davis Kessinger; daughters, Sherri Kessinger, Becky Sapp, Sandra (Tom) Eades, and Brenda (Shelby) Basham; step-daughter, Rebecca Jane Dunaway; step-son Gary Lee Eldridge; sisters, Pam (Jimmy) Crabtree, Liz Aud, and Karen Goodman; brothers, David (Brenda) Kessinger, Robert Kessinger, Clifton Kessinger, and Joe Kessinger; grandchildren, Kayla, Alyshia, Abby, Cierra, and Brandon; and step grandchildren, Jolene, Shelby and Sam

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to The American Cancer Society


Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday April 22, 2014 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. The denim casual visitation will be from 10 am until time of service on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery
