Craig Reading Harmon

Craig R. Harmon, 74, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Continue Care Hospital in Madisonville. He was born December 16, 1951 in Daviess County to the late Dale and Faye Adelmann Harmon. Craig had been a security guard with Securitas and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing, was a Civil War and World War II enthusiast, and loved spending time with his family. Craig was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Conrad and Audrey Adelmann and a great aunt, Thelma Reading.

Craig is survived by his wife, Brenda Harmon; son, Craig Wesley Harmon and daughter, Dale Harmon; and also four other daughters, Heather Adler of Indiana, Ashley Long of Arkansas, and twins Brittany Robinson of Florida, and Whitney Harmon of New York; 15 grandchildren; a brother, Steve Harmon (Kathy) of Owensboro; and six nieces and nephews, Amanda Waldrep (Chuck), Bridget Townsend, Katie Abel (Troy), Hannah Davis (Brad), Reading Harmon (Amanda), and Paxton Harmon (Emma Goetz).

There will be a visitation for Craig from 3 PM until 5 PM Thursday, June 4 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
