Cory Christian Galloway

Cory Christian Galloway, 17, of Owensboro passed away May 9, 2016 at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville. He was born September 17, 1998 in Owensboro to Bruce and Becky Galloway. Cory was a very intelligent student who had just graduated from Triplett High School. He mowed yards on his own and also worked for Weedman while being known to save his money instead of spend it. Cory loved anything outdoors including 4-wheeling, bow fishing, hunting, and jet skiing. He was a great son and big brother. Cory was also a member of the Owensboro Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his parents and brothers, Cody, Kyle, and Kaleb Galloway; grandparents, Bernard and Elsie Galloway of Philpot, John and Mary Jones of Owensboro; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a multitude of friends.

The service will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 13 at Owensboro Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastors Kevin Shearer and Jim Hickerson officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 till 7:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 AM Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
