Corinna Marie Thomas

Corinna Marie Thomas, 91 of Clarksville, Tennessee, formerly of Owensboro, died Monday, November 26, 2008 at Spring Meadows Healthcare in Clarksville. She was born in Rockport, Kentucky to the late Bert Huddleston and Ella Louise (Hendrie) Robertson. She grew up in Livermore, Kentucky and attended Bowling Green Business College. She retired as a receptionist and secretary from Dr. Don Riley's dentist office. Mrs. Thomas was a member of First Baptist Church and taught children's Sunday school. She loved doing dramatic reading, and was extremely loving, acting as a caregiver for family and friends, and lived the Christian life. Her activities in the church were Senior Choir and the Outreach Program, and she enjoyed traveling with church groups. She enjoyed all gardening, loved flowers and music, often humming as she worked.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Hawes Thomas in 1987, and a grandson, Benjamin David Fuller in 2003.

Surviving are her daughters and spouses; Mary Marie (Cliff) Fuller of Clarksville, TN., Bonnie (Parvin) Bishop of Powder Springs, GA., and Patsy (Joe) Galati of Alamo, CA., grandchildren; Thomas Fuller of Clarksville, TN., Timothy (Melissa) Bishop of Elizabeth, CO>, Julie Bishop of Atlanta, GA., Mark (Sabrina) Galati of Cumming, GA., Adam (Shauna) Galati of Mountainhouse, CA., and great-grandchildren; Bethaney Fuller of Clarksville, TN., Samantha Bishop of Elizabeth, CO., and Jimmy Galati of Mountainhouse, CA.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Dr. David Nelson officiating. Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Senior Choir at First Baptist Church.
