Constance Woodall Reece, 74, of Owensboro died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born September 23, 1934 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Walter Lee and Imogene (Young) Woodall. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Meredith College, Raleigh, North Carolina. She taught school in Gastonia, NC and in Owensboro City School system. She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed many kinds of handwork and crafts. She was an avid reader.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Charles William Reece; her son, Charles William Reece, Jr. and his wife Stefanie Renee of Spring, TX; a daughter, Pamela Reece of Wilson, NC; a sister, Marlene Woodall Cartrette and her husband Hartwell of Lexington, SC ; three grandsons, Christopher Sean Reece, Stefan Kirk Thomas and Aaron Mitchell Reece all of Texas; and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Davis Reece and his wife Phyllis of Ooltewah,TN.

Services are 12 noon, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Carroll officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday and after 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday October 10, 2008 at Mountain View Cemetery in Greer, SC with Rev. Brandi Costo-Waters. Wood Mortuary is handling arrangements in Greer.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to First Presbyterian Church or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
