Connie E. Payne

Connie E. Payne, 65, of Lewisport, KY passed away on Sunday August 30, 2026, at her residence while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.

She was born September 1, 1960, in Daviess County, to the late Hubert and Myrl Hardin Estes. Connie was a 1978 graduate of Daviess County High School and was retired from U.S. Bank where she worked in the home mortgage department. She was always passionate about decorating for every holiday, but most of all she treasured her time being a grandmother. She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and her unique gift of making people feel cared for, understood, and welcome. She gave freely of herself in infinite, quiet, and meaningful ways. Connie made the lives of all those around her better.

Connie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Geoff Payne; her sons, Geoff Payne II and Jarred Payne; daughter-in-law Sara Payne; grandchildren, Chance and Xander Payne; and a brother, Ron Estes.

A time of gathering for family and friends of Connie will be held Wednesday September 2, 2026, from 1 until 7 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
