Connie Ruth Cross

Connie Ruth Cross, 57, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 at her home. She was born in Owensboro to the late John W. and Mary Francis Riley.

Connie was a graduate of Owensboro Senior High School and attended Owensboro Junior Business College.

She was a Senior Companion with Audubon Senior Services and a longtime member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church. Connie enjoyed gardening, fishing, needlework, going to yard sales and most of all, spending time with family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Barry Riley.

Connie is survived by her husband, Dave Cross; sons, Michael Durbin (Mishalia) of Providence, KY and Chris Durbin (Christine) of Owensboro; step-daughter, Alicyn Cross of Virginia; grandchildren, Erica Durbin, Dyllion Pickerel and Zachary White; brothers, Larry Riley of Springfield, IL and Wesley Riley (Nola) of Hemet, CA; sisters-in-law, Deanna Cross-Boyle of Lampoc, CA and Denise Cross of Marion, KY; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, April 8 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Memorial Baptist Church.
