Conni Lois Gross Konken

Conni Lois Gross Konken, 44, of Owensboro, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. The Daviess Co. native was born October 9, 1962 to Henry and Devois Lavon Cole Gross. Connis greatest love was her son, Alex. She was a devout Christian who taught school and cared for those children with love and kindness.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her son, Alex Konken, of Owensboro, her sister, Cathy Warren, of Owensboro, her Grandmother, Allie Mae Cole of Centertown, KY, her niece, Amber Hall of Owensboro, her nephew, Dustin Hendricks, of Owensboro, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial immediately following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 23, 2007 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Conni Konken, c/o Cathy Warren, 4502 Shady Creek Cove, Owensboro, KY 42303. These donations will be used for Alexs education.
