Collis Eugene Quinn,65, of Owensboro, KY passed away Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 at his home. He was born July 10, 1952 to the late Lawrence and Clara Merle Quinn. Collis was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid collector of antiques and he enjoyed attending flea markets. Collis was a fantastic artist who used cat hair balls to produce some of his paintings. He worked as a meat cutter at IGA for over 40 years. Collis was also a great dancer, had a tremendous sense of humor, and always put others before himself.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Quinn who passed away in 1999; a brother, Leon Quinn; a sister, Marilyn Faye Quinn
He is survived by his brothers, Wallace Quinn (Lavonne) of Owensboro and Tommy Quinn (Darlene) of Owensboro; his sister, Joyce Vertrees of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews
The service will be 6PM Tuesday, October 24th 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. The visitation will be 4PM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
