Collis Ann Patton-White

Collis Ann Patton-White, 76, of Owensboro passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Ollie and Gola Taylor.

Collis was a member of Breckenridge United Methodist Church and a Kentucky Colonel. She was employed at General Electric for twenty years before becoming a receptionist at the Senior Community Center. She served there for fifteen years and developed many lasting friendships. Collis was a loving and dedicated wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George D. Patton in 1995 and a daughter, Anna Louise Patton in 2010.

Collis is survived by her husband of 14 years, James White; a son, Timothy Patton of Georgetown, KY and a sister, Charlotte Barlow of Louisiana.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 18 at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory after 10:00 am on Wednesday before processing to Elmwood for the service. Rev. Pete Coble will officiate.
