Colleen Swank

Colleen Swank, 91, passed into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2015. She was born on March 26, 1924 in Muhlenberg County to the late Angelo and Fannie Addie Miller-Moore.
Colleen served her family well as a homemaker but was also very successful in Avon reaching the level of the President's Club. Her quiet spirit was expressed in service to the elderly and working in the "Friendship House" clothes ministry at her church. She was a very faithful and godly woman who often sang Amazing Grace as she worked around the house.
Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, William Swank; daughter, Brenda Wilkins; son George Swank; and brother Sherman Miller.
Colleen is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Moseley (Roy), Barbara Swank, Deborah Daugherty all of Owensboro, Shirley Bullington (Ed) of Dickson, TN, Connie Welborn (Wayne) of Central City; son, Donnie Swank (Candyce) of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 12 PM Monday, December 14 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Dr. Dennis McFadden will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from
10 AM until time of service.
