Clyde Wall

December 3, 1916 — March 4, 2006

Clyde Wall, 89, of 2701 Frederica St., Owensboro, formerly of 2054 Sussex Place, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the Hermitage Care & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Dave & Ola Mosley Wall. He was retired after 40 years from Glenmore Distillaries. He was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church where he was a charter member of the Woodlawners and the Methodist Mens Club. He was a former member of the Breakfast Civitan Club and was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Geneva Wall, his daughter and her husband, Linda & Gerald Lee of Tamaroa, Il., a granddaughter and her husband, Danielle & Michael Gratton of Cedar Falls, Iowa, a sister, Bernice Stuart of Owensboro, two nieces, Patty Evans of Indianapolis, In. and Olene Roper of Nashville, Tn., and three nephews, Jeff Payne of Los Angeles, Ca., and Buddy Stringer & Junior Stringer, both of Louisville.

Services will be at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 7, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 12 Noon Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 1120 Woodlawn Ave., Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
