Clyde W. Martin, 81, of Masonville, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at his home. He was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky. His parents were the late Lloyd and Gladys Martin.

Clyde was a graduate of Leitchfield High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. He was also a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War.

Clyde was a computer operator for General Electric for 25 years. He also served as a Pinkerton security guard at Texas Gas during his retirement. Clyde found fulfillment in working and continued to do so until his health finally prevented him from it. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and dining out.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Sue Robinson Martin; a daughter, Vicki L. Reed (J. Keith) of Louisville, KY; a granddaughter, Jessica N. Graves (Daniel) of Lexington, KY; a brother, Everett Martin of Leitchfield; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 2 PM on Friday, April 11 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Todd Menhennitt will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM and on Friday after 11 AM at the funeral home.
