Clyde A. Fulkerson

Mr. Clyde A. Fulkerson, 87, of 1110 Hill Ave., Owensboro, died Wednesday, July 07, 2004, at Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 17, 1917, to the late Albert and Flora Wheeler Fulkerson, in Daviess County. He was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church, an Army veteran of WW II, an active member of VFW, FOP, American Legion, and Am-Vets. He coached and played baseball many years in Owensboro, he was retired from Glenmore Distillery and enjoyed gardening.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marquerite, who died June 26, 1993.

Survivors include two brothers, Anthony Fulkerson of Owensboro, and Gerald Jerry Fulkerson of Bowling Green; one sister, Mary Merrimee of Owensboro; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Immaculate Catholic Church, with burial in Mater Dolorosa cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, and after 9:00 AM Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home, with prayers being said at 6:00 PM Friday.
