Clinton Eugene Montgomery

Clinton Eugene Montgomery, 45, of 4110 Gooselake Cove, Owensboro, died Monday, May 6, 2002 at his home. He was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on December 22, 1956 the son of Joseph and Geneva Beyke Montgomery.

Mr. Montgomery co.-owned Owensboro Armature Works for 12 years has been a machinist at Toolco Co. and was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. He coached girls softball at Thruston Playground for several years and enjoyed woodworking, hunting, gardening and landscaping.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Janie Montgomery; two daughters, Leigh Ann Montgomery and Kimberly Montgomery, both of Owensboro; his parents, Geneva and Joseph Montgomery of Owensboro; five brothers, Tony Montgomery, Wayne Montgomery, Gary Montgomery, Jim Montgomery and Martin Montgomery, all of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 08, 2002 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Jim Wedding. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2002 and after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home.
